It has been over 900 years since Turks come to Anatolia. Then they migrated on to the Balkans, an event that occurred more than 700 years ago. Cultures, civilizations, armies and states had their ups and downs just as the ebb and flow. At the beginning of the 20th century, they had to remain within the bounds associated with their cultural geography Nevertheless they established a free, independent and democratic republic within those boundaries. Establishing a state is not as intrinsically important in itself as protecting it and keeping it alive.
